1) Create a Lost Pet Poster
Log into your PetHub account
On your pet’s profile homepage, open the Actions tab
Select Report Missing/Found
Follow the steps to file a Missing Pet Report
Once submitted, you can:
Print a lost pet poster
Share it directly to social media
If you have Premium Service, you’ll also be able to send a digital lost pet alert to local shelters.
2) Contact local shelters
Call and visit shelters near where your pet was last seen. Don’t rely on just one — check multiple nearby facilities and continue checking regularly.
3) Start searching the right way
Go to the last known location and:
Bring favorite treats and toys
Call calmly — avoid chasing if you see them (frightened pets may run)
Give them time to recognize you and come to you
