Activation is quick — you’ll just link the tag to your pet’s profile.

If you already have a PetHub account

  1. Sign in at pethub.com (or go to pethub.com/go and choose Existing Account)

  2. Find your pet’s photo

  3. Click the orange Activate An ID Tag or Card button

  4. Enter the tag ID and CAPTCHA, then click Activate

If you’re new to PetHub

  1. Go to pethub.com/go

  2. Select New Account

  3. Follow the steps to create your account, add your pet, and activate the tag

After activation, you’ll see the option to upgrade to our PetHub+ Premium Service (optional). It adds extra protection, including:

  • Map location alerts when the tag is scanned

  • Text and email notifications when the tag is scanned or the hotline is called

  • Lost pet poster alerts shared with shelters within 50 miles

  • Additional perks and rewards
