One of our most-loved features is the map included in a scan alert — but quick note: this is not a live GPS tracker.
Here’s what happens:
When someone scans your pet’s tag, their phone can share its location (with permission). PetHub then sends you an alert showing where your pet was found on a map.
So instead of tracking your pet in real time, you receive the location of the person who scanned the tag — which is usually exactly where your pet is.
