Here’s the simple version: your pet wears a tag, and if someone finds them, it connects them straight to you.
Step 1 — Create your pet’s profile
Set up a free profile at PetHub.com with helpful details like name, breed, age, medications, allergies, and multiple emergency contacts.
Step 2 — Link a tag
Attach one (or more!) QR-coded tags or collars to that profile.
Step 3 — Choose your protection level
Pick between Basic (free) or PetHub+ (premium) service: www.pethub.com/pricing
What happens if your pet is found?
If they scan the tag:
The finder opens your pet’s profile and sees the contact information and details you’ve chosen to share.
If they don’t have a smartphone:
They can call the number printed on the tag. Our 24/7 call center will connect you with the person who found your pet. (The call center is included with all PetHub services.)
With PetHub+, you also get:
Email and text alerts when the tag is scanned
A map showing where the scan occurred (when location permission is available)
The ability to send a PetHub Community Alert — a digital lost pet poster shared with local shelters, rescues, vets, pet professionals, the PetHub community, and social media
The goal is simple: make it as fast and easy as possible for the person who finds your pet to reach you and get them home safely.
